Welcome Back!

Welcome new Mater Dei families! We started our school year last Tuesday, August 22nd with Orientation Day/Drop off. It was wonderful to see all the smiling faces – and even the few less than smiling that couldn’t believe summer was coming to an end! The afternoon orientation differed from past years. Previously drop off happened in the morning; it seems more families were able to make the afternoon session and we’ll probably keep this for next year.

Wednesday, August 24th, was a bright and sunny day. Perfect for the first day of school! We welcomed over 20 new families this year along with new faculty and staff. Mrs. Hart joins the 4th grade teaching team while Mrs. Braddock returns to Pre-K with Mrs. Stephens as her aide. Mrs. Trem is our long-term sub for Mrs. Soriano, who returns second quarter.  For any tuition questions, please contact our new bookkeeper, Mrs. Lori Conley, in the office.

Friday morning we gathered as a school community for the first time at Mass. There were a number of family and friends who joined us in asking God to bless our students, faculty, staff and school. We invite all to join us every Friday at 8:30
