Washington DC

aOur 8th grade students and teachers got to visit our nation’s capital this month.  This annual field trip to Washington D.C. is a fun, safe way to educate our students.  The students had 3 fun-filled days of tours of Ford’s Theatre,  Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Smithsonian Museums, Medieval Times.  They also had many group photo opportunities at the Capitol and at the White House.    With so much to be thankful for, the students realized how much freedom can cost as they visited a number of memorials which included the WWII, Lincoln, Korean, Vietnam, MLK, FDR, and Jefferson Memorials.

The students returned happy and excited to show their parents all the interesting things they learned and places they saw.
