Cleveland State University - Bachelor's of Science in Nursing; Cleveland State University - Medical Bioethics; Certification in pediatric nursing from the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.  Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Philosophy

Children are a blessing given to this world by God.  I feel that God has called me to help do his work by helping to provide care for those who need it in what can be a vulnerable time of need.   As a nurse for almost 20 years, I have truly found joy in my work helping to provide compassionate care to the children and families I care for during their time of need.  As a mother to three children myself, I understand the importance as a parent of knowing their child will receive quality, kind an compassionate care while they are in the clinic. Healthy bodies help build healthy minds and aid in the growth of learning.  Through kindness and compassion anything is possible.

I am excited to work for MDA because it gives me the chance to continue to do what I am most passionate about in the community setting.  I want to ensure that every child who enters the clinic has a supportive, safe and healing environment to get them ready to go back to the classroom to learn and grow.
