Philosophy
I engage students in hands-on lessons that are relative to their experiences and interests. I believe it is important to incorporate technology in the classroom because it is so prevalent in today’s society. I show students that learning is fun and the information being taught is relevant to the outside world. I provide the skills necessary for my students to succeed in my classroom as well as to become life long learners.

I enjoy working at Mater Dei Academy because everyone is so friendly. I also love how students have the desire to learn something new every day.

Philosophy I believe that every child holds something unique that will allow him or her to succeed in life in the most unexpected ways.  I feel that it is my calling to recognize these distinctive qualities as gifts from God and do everything in my power to encourage that these characteristics be put in action.

I love working at Mater Dei Academy because it is a community filled with passion, respect, and devotion for our students and their families.

Philosophy
I believe it is my moral responsibility to create a safe and caring environment where my students can grow academically, socially, and spiritually.  I will challenge my students to the highest expectations.  My students will be engaged and motivated in their own learning through purposefully planned lessons.  Students will have daily opportunities for peer discourse, hands on activities, problem-solving skills targeting higher critical thinking skills and problem solving.  Every child succeeds!

As a teacher at MDA, I am blessed to be in a position of great influence of children’s faith formation.  I love being a part of Mater Dei Academy as I can share the love of Jesus Christ everyday with everyone!
