Bowling Green State University Bachelor’s Degree in Education – Middle Childhood Education
Philosophy
I believe that all children have the ability to learn anything. Meeting them where they are at, and taking steps so that they will be successful in the future. Each child is different and unique, and therefore they learn differently. I strive to teach my students in a way that makes sense to them.
I love working at MDA because it feels like a family. Everyone here is so supportive and encouraging.

Philosophy
I believe children have the right to an all-encompassing education that will benefit their mind, body, and soul. I believe that it is the responsibility of the teacher to continue to build upon the foundation that was started at home to endeavor for life-long learning experiences. To this end, I believe a teacher should create a nurturing, enriching, and safe environment that is mindful of a child’s spiritual, social, emotional, and physical well-being. Using various means of instruction and assessment that meet different learning modalities, I believe a teacher will then be able to ensure a student’s ability to take control of their own learning and instill a sense of success and fulfillment.
